LCoF Line

ANTI-FRICTION

LCoF treatments have been developed to improve the performance of mechanical elements through maximum reduction of the friction coefficient, whether static or dynamic, even in corrosive environments.

These treatments are mainly comprised of PTFE, which, as well as acting as an excellent solid lubricant, allows us to improve the characteristics of mechanical components to achieve high performance.

The main advantages of LCoF treatments can be summarised as follows:

  • no direct metal-on-metal contact
  • very low friction coefficient (from 0.05 to 0.020)
  • a lower static than dynamic friction coefficient
  • elimination of stick-slip
  • protection against corrosion
  • reduction of heat and friction noise
