The Tef-Line SdR (Sliding&Release coatings) includes different coatings characterized by both a very low coefficient of friction and non-stick properties.
Through the careful and specific combination of these features, it is possible to create a range of coatings that allows for maximum sliding properties of the product in contact with the treated surface.
Wherever there is the need for an industrial non-stick treatment to make a product sliding as much as possible, whether it is plastic material, fabrics, packaging or food products, the SDR coating is able to bring significant advantages to production cycles in terms of quality and productivity.
The low friction SdR coating are mainly made up of fluoropolymers based on PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and PFA (perfluoroalkoxy). All these fluoropolymers feature a low coefficient of friction and high non-stick properties. The coating based on PTFE and PFA, combined with other resins, makes it possible to offer a very wide range of “ad hoc” coatings, each of which can be used according to the specific uses required.
Most SdR coating are available with FDA approvals for food contact.
